SwimWell offers lessons to all ages and abilities. See Below to learn more about each age group and the general content of the lessons.
Babies Lessons
Our lessons for babies are grouped according to age, 4 - 12 months and 12 - 36 months. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Our lessons help develop balance and movement plus breath control. There is music, songs and games to add to the fun of learning, which always carry a fun and motivational theme to keep baby interested.
As parents and guardians are involved they help with the process of water confidence allowing babies to enjoy being in the water. We have fully trained staff who are always on hand to guide and help you and your baby through each class.
ASA/STA Qualified Teaching staff lead each class which are bookable in blocks.
Children's Lessons
The Children lessons follow on from the babies lessons and start from 3 years - older children and advanced classes (12+)
Following on from the previous course new skills are introduced and others developed (floatation, balance,
propulsion skills and breath control). Each technique is refined and developed as the child begins to learn each
stroke.

We carry on the motivational aspect of our classes by awarding achievement badges. Our qualified staff ensure each programme is as diverse as possible and have a range of different themes - from rookie life-saving to water polo. All aimed to improve confidence and skills whilst providing a fun environment in which to learn. These activities can lead to more advanced swimming programmes and even an alternative route to competitive swimming.
Adult Lessons
It's never too late to learn how to swim. Swim Well offer services to new beginners, people who want to get back into swimming after some time away and seasoned veterans looking for a new challenge.
Swimming is a fantastic form of exercise and helps improve general fitness and stay in shape. Along with a full body workout - swimming is a fun exercise which promotes a sense of relaxation and well being.
If you're new or low on confidence - our beginner programmes help you with everything you need. From group sessions to 1 on 1's our fully qualified staff can help you master all the strokes and breathing techniques. All at the learners own pace.
As you progress you can move up to the intermediate class learning more new strokes and putting into practice what you've previously learnt. We also help you develop and refine each stroke - like improving breathing techniques for front crawl. For more advanced still we offer an advanced class where you can develop your skills in a competitive aspect.
Senior Lessons
Swim Well offers dedicated classes for the over 60's. These classes are at a more leisurely pace but are still in-depth and full of enjoyable activities.
As well as learning swimming and breathing techniques. We also combine the swimming with water exercise classes, an excellent way to help stay mobile whilst not putting unnecessary stress on joints.
